- Emphasizing commitment to sustainable growth under the theme ‘Energy for Sustainable Life’
- Featuring three core areas: future energy, DAX (Digital & AI Transformation), and next-generation fueling stations
- Communicating GS Caltex’s technological innovation and sustainability vision to global leaders

GS Caltex (CEO Saehong Hur) announced on October 28 that it will present an exhibition themed ‘Energy for Sustainable Life’ at APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025, to be held in Gyeongju from October 28 to 31.
In line with the official APEC theme, ‘Building a Sustainable Tomorrow,’ the exhibition offers a dynamic portrayal of GS Caltex’s journey toward sustainable energy, linking the company’s past, present, and future.
At its exhibition booth on the third floor of the Gyeongju Arts Center, GS Caltex will present the company’s vision and future strategies for leading the energy transition era with three key themes: Future Energy, DAX (Digital & AI Transformation), and Energy Plus Hub.
Displayed on large LED screens and façades with a futuristic design, the interactive content in each zone offers an immersive experience of GS Caltex’s future vision and business models. Visitors can enjoy three exclusive videos — ‘Legacy & New Energy,’ ‘DAX,’ and ‘Future Plus’ — accessible through beacon devices installed within the booth.

The exhibition highlights GS Caltex’s 60-year legacy of innovation and growth since its establishment in 1967 as Korea’s first private oil refiner. It also showcases how, through continuous technological innovation and global collaboration, the company has played a leading role in advancing Korea’s energy industry. In particular, visitors can explore initiatives such as AI Factories built on the DAX platform, which embody GS Caltex’s vision of sustainability as a future-oriented energy company on the path toward its 100-year milestone.
GS Caltex will also introduce branded goods that reflect its corporate culture and core values. These include Guardi and Safey, safety mascot figures inspired by the company’s ‘STEP Together’ campaign under its ‘Safety First’ culture, as well as an educational kit designed to help children understand GS Caltex’s CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) initiatives for carbon reduction.
For those unable to visit in person, an online exhibition recreates the main content of the on-site display, offering an immersive digital experience of GS Caltex’s ‘Energy for Sustainable Life’ vision.
Jung-su Kim, Executive Vice President of the Strategy Planning Division at GS Caltex, said,
“The APEC CEO Summit is a meaningful opportunity to share GS Caltex’s technological leadership, DAX innovation, and carbon-reduction efforts with industry and policy leaders across the Asia-Pacific region.” He added, “We will continue to advance energy transition and digital innovation for future generations under our vision of ‘Energy for Sustainable Life.’”
